Health & Safety
Blossom maintains routines and procedures in our classrooms to protect one another and our community. The wellbeing of Blossom and our northeast Los Angeles neighbors is important to us.
Blossom looks to Los Angeles County Public Health Department and follows the guidance of the CDC. All friends of the Blossom community have a shared responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please review our COVID-19 Policy below.

We have optional PCR testing for all members of our community weekly. We conduct daily wellness checks at arrival for each child and monitor them throughout the day. Parents are notified when a child is feeling unwell and has an elevated temperature or a fever. We wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds — especially after using the bathroom, blowing noses, coughing, or sneezing. We also prompt hand washing during arrival and before eating.

Daily cleaning protocols and practices will strictly follow the Centers for Disease Control guidelines and policies using EPA-approved products. All areas of campus, especially high-contact surfaces, are being cleaned at the end of each day as well as disinfected or sanitized at the end of the day.

The process:
Complete the Omni Form for everyone who will be getting tested (Please only fill out "Patient Information," "Billing Information," and your signature).
Return the completed form and a copy of your insurance card (front and back), via email to catherine@weblossomla.com. Testing is 100% free for everyone that has insurance. Please speak to us privately about your testing options if you do not have insurance.
Once you have registered, you are set to be tested each week.
Testing will occur on site at school every Friday from 8:00AM to 10:30AM.
